The Allergy-Friendly Snack That's Now Flying on Delta

I made a HUGE food allergy discovery earlier this week, let me tell ya about it 👇

Starting on April 1 of this year, MadeGood partnered with Delta Air Lines to offer its Chewy Chocolate Chip Bars on all domestic flights!

So here’s the story… during my flight this past Wednesday when the snack cart came around, I passed on it right away, like I always do.

Many of you with food allergies know this story far too well… eating food you didn’t bring with you on an airplane? No thank you.

This is my general rule of thumb when flying - snacks from home only, things I’ve had before, nothing new.

Anyway, just before I put my headphones back on I hear the person sitting next to me ask for a granola bar and the next thing I know there is a MadeGood label being passed in front of my face.

I quickly told the flight attendant that on second thought, I would also like a granola bar 😅

And let me tell you these things are GOOD. I am no doubt already a huge fan of MadeGood products, but it was amazing to see people who (I am assuming) didn’t have food allergies also enjoy them.

As a matter a fact, when I was taking the above picture outside of the gate, a guy passing by said that he also took a picture of them to make sure he buys them at the grocery store next time 🤣

This is a rare exception to my general rule of thumb. Having dedicated allergy friendly brands like MadeGood available on Delta flights is a true game changer. Peace of mind is essential on hectic travel days.

I wrote the title of this section the way I did for a reason. While some other airlines are STILL serving nuts on their flights, Delta has made a move in the opposite direction.

There are some changes coming the bus transportation at Disney that you may need to be aware of on your next trip.

Beginning on June 28th of this year, Disney will be checking that guests are staying at a Disney resort before allowing them to board resort buses from Disney Springs.

Let’s talk about what this could mean for your upcoming trip 👇

If you are staying at a Disney resort you really shouldn’t notice any difference apart from showing some proof every now and again.

If you have a confirmed dining reservation or another recreational activity scheduled at a Disney resort, you are allowed to use resort bus transportation.

The popular strategy of using Disney Springs as a sort of “free transportation hub” may no longer work. Guests who previously used Disney Springs buses to do a little “resort hopping” could be turned away.

There has not been an official announcement from Disney about this being a long term policy, but reports are suggesting that this change could be here to stay.
