Happy Tuesday — let’s get into what you need to know at Disney this week.
We’re breaking down one of the most important food allergy tips you can use on your next trip.
Plus, there are big changes coming to some fan-favorite rides as soon as next month.
And we’re highlighting another go-to food allergy friendly restaurant on property.
Let’s dive in 👇️
Food Allergy Tip
Should You Trust The Disney Food Allergy Menus? Let’s Talk About It…

Food allergy menus are great at telling you what allergens are in each menu item, but they tend to take things too literally.
With that being said if you really want to maximize your experience and get those really special Disney meals, you must to speak with a chef when ordering.
The food allergy menus lack creativity. It will base the restrictions off the menu item exactly how it is listed. For example, if a burger comes with cheese, it will not be listed as "safe for dairy allergies". BUT if you speak with a chef, they can easily make you a burger without cheese and completely free of dairy.
There are also known holes in the Disney Food Allergy Menus. The Sci-Fi Drive In Theater is known to have amazing allergy friendly milkshakes, they have a dedicated dairy free blender. But on the food allergy menu it does not say it is safe for dairy allergies. Don't let these things turn you off from making a reservation.
This is another example of why you should always speak to a chef. At Disney a lot of times the reality of what you can eat will exceed your expectations, but you have to talk with a chef and they will give you those extra options.
When we post food allergy menus, we always get comments saying things like "Only 2 options for gluten free? I guess I can't eat there."
This is not true. The food allergy menus will mislead you.
As we said earlier they lack creativity. One quick substitution could be an easy fix for you to get that burger, but the food allergy menu wont tell you that. A Disney Chef will be able to work with you to create a fantastic meal.
Without a doubt the best practice for eating at Disney with food allergies is to speak with a chef. Don't feel bad about asking, this is what they are there for. Even if the wait staff tells you they can handle your allergy, you must insist on speaking with a chef.
At the end of the day Disney is the gold standard for food allergys but you must remain an advocate for yourself at all times.
Speak up if something isn't right, speak with a chef about options, and you are set up to have a great Disney dining experience.

The Muppets Are Taking Over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster 🎸

📸 Disney Concept Art
Disney confirmed that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is coming in summer 2026, replacing Aerosmith with The Muppets and their band, the Electric Mayhem.
The new storyline centers around a massive one-night-only concert, where guests are taken on a high-speed ride across Hollywood to make it to the show, starting with a tour of G-Force Records, now taken over by the Muppets.
Along the way, the attraction will feature a fully reimagined pre-show and environments, including updated recording studio scenes, new characters like Scooter and the band, and a redesigned courtyard with a more colorful, psychedelic Muppet-style look.
Music will play a huge role, with Disney confirming that guests will hear tracks from the Electric Mayhem throughout the ride, including the first revealed song, “Song 2,” with more tracks to be announced soon. While the ride system itself remains the same, the experience will feel completely different, with new visuals, story elements, and a Muppet twist on classic Hollywood landmarks, all building toward a chaotic, concert-style finale.

Restaurant Spotlight
Grand Floridian Cafe

Looking for a "hidden gem" that feels upscale but handles allergies like a pro? The Grand Floridian Café is one of our top picks for a relaxed, safe, and delicious meal away from the park crowds.
The culinary team here, just like any Disney owned restaurant, is world-class at navigating food allergies and complex restrictions. As you may have realized by now, Disney chefs prioritize safety without sacrificing the "Grand" experience.
We recently revisited our favorites here: the Grand Turkey Club (on allergy-friendly bread) and a Custom Pasta creation (pictured above). Again sticking with the theme of not using the allergy menu, speaking directly with a chef is how you get these really special off menu items.
Don’t forget to look for the Allergy Pick in your dish! It’s the ultimate peace of mind, confirming your meal was prepared in a dedicated space. It’s the gold standard for dining at Disney.
Every time we visit Disney World, we always find ourselves back at the Grand Floridian Cafe. We could not recommend it more ✨
